Join your hosts, Doug Monda, Chris Scallon and Chris Fields and for a tough conversation with Brady Pilster and Dr. David Black from Cordico.  This week we're talking First Responder Wellness and why it's so important.

Dr. David Black is the Founder and CEO of Cordico, serving hundreds of public safety agencies, including the California Highway Patrol, the San Francisco Police Department, the Seattle Police Department, the Sacramento Police Department, the Oakland Police Department, the Minneapolis Police Department, and the Memphis Police Department, to name a few. Dr. Black is a Board Member of the National Sheriffs’ Association Psychological Services Group and serves as the Chair of Technology and Social Media. He is also an Advisory Board Member for the National Police Foundation’s Center for Mass Violence Response Studies and serves on the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Police Psychological Services Ethics Committee. He was one of two psychologists worldwide who served on the IACP Model Policy Working Group for Investigating Officer-Involved Shootings and Other Serious Incidents. Dr. Black also serves on the National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Officer Wellness Committee, serves on the California Police Chiefs’ Association Human Behind the Badge Committee, and is an Officer Wellness subject matter expert for the California Commission on Police Officer Standards and Training (POST). Dr. Black has been serving law enforcement agencies since 2002, he has personally worked with thousands of first responders over the course of his career, and he has conducted law enforcement trainings for organizations such as the FBI, the FBINAA, the IACP, the NSA, HAPCOA, CPOA, and the CPCA.
